Cornelle holds a Bachelor of Applied Social Sciences (Psychology) from the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP), and is a Certified Mind Body Eating Coach with the Institute for the Psychology of Eating in Colorado, USA. Cornelle’s interest in the field of eating psychology stems from her own personal journey with body and food. She has a deep empathy and understanding for the battles women wage against their bodies and this affects their ability to live the lives.
She combines her training in psychology with a coaching style approach using Dynamic Eating Psychology™ and Mind Body Nutrition™ to work with clients on concerns such as weight, body image, over-eating, binge eating and chronic dieting.
Her goal is to help clients make peace with their body and with food, to understand what underlying issues trigger unwanted behaviours and to assist them in reducing negative food- and self talk and lead them to discover how to nourish themselves as a whole person. The coaching component of her approach encourages behavioural, dietary and metabolic strategies that are doable and sustainable.
